Bonjour!
No I am not French if that is what you were thinking. I am just so excited to be heading to Paris, France in July! I have been there once before and I cannot wait to go back!
But that's not what this blog post is about. This will be my "Summer Wishlist." I am very picky about what I buy, therefore I make monthly wishlists and seasonal wishlists. And now I want to present this wishlist to you. *NOTE- I add things to this wishlist often, so expect to see more posts titled "wishlist" or something of that sort*
So let's get started (these are in no particular order, of course):
1. MAC Makeup wipes- yes these are pricey but they are good (or so I've heard). I've tested them in the store and they remove makeup flawlessly. Currently I have Clinique's Eye Makeup Remover Solvent, which is a terrible product, and I want something new! I'm not a big fan of liquid makeup removers, so the idea of makeup wipes is what attracts me to the MAC wipes. I would have went for some drugstore alternative, but since I cannot try them out before I buy them, I do not know how they remove makeup.
2. Loreal Hip Cream Eyeliner- I've wanted to try a gel liner for a while now. I've heard this is an amazing drugstore find, and since drugstore's always have BOGOs (Buy One Get One), this is a great deal. I think the first one I want to buy is the brown one because I am not into wearing heavy black liner for everyday.
3. Jergens Natural Glow Foaming Daily Moisturizer- this gives you a gradual tan, which is just what I need considering that I am pasty white and usually am the lightest shade of every foundation and concealer. I don't have a problem with that, but for the summertime I want some added color, without sitting out in the sun! This has been raved about on YouTube and I am going to buy this. I'm pretty sure my CVS has it on sale for $5.00!
4. Stila "It Girl" Eyeshadow Trio- EVERYBODY GO ON SEPHORA.COM RIGHT NOW AND CHECK THIS OUT! I'm sorry for the Caps-Lock but this Stila Trio is $10.00 for three full size Stila eyeshadows. This palette includes Kitten, which is my all time favorite shadow. I already own the Kitten Eyeshadow, but I would gladly buy another for $10.00 plus two bonus shades.
5. Revlon ColorBurst Lipstick- I really want this in Soft Nude because I don't have a nice nude lipstick and many people on YouTube have raved about this lipstick. Plus the packaging is soo beyond cute (I'm a sucker for packaging).
6. NYX Lip Glosses- I am kind of on a lipgloss craze right now. I want the NYX lip glosses because I want to try more NYX products, and coincidentally, my Ulta has just got lots of NYX products! I don't know what else to say other than that I am a lipgloss junkie :)
7. NYX Eyeshadows- I find it hard to find good eyeshadow singles in drugstores, so NYX eyeshadows are usually the one's I reach for. I would like to buy some nice matte ones, and definitely some good MAC dupes. If you would like a NYX and MAC dupe list, just Google it! GOOGLE= YOUR (and mine) BEST FRIEND!
8. Elf Brushes- my Target just got some ELF products in and I am stocked! I have always wanted to order from ELF (Eyes Lips Face) but I was really picky about ordering online. Well the brushes I would like first are the dollar eyeshadow brush, and the studio line brushes. Make sure to check your Target if they help ELF products, because my Target just got them in a couple of weeks ago.
9. Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner- I am not really wanting to try this product, but I would just like a cheap eyeliner to take with me everywhere during summer time. I currently use the Clinique Quickliner in Brown Black (which I LOOOOOVE!), but I want an eyeliner that I won't care much about. By that I mean that I won't care if I lose it at a friends house, or if it melts in the car.
10. Physicians Formula Healthy Wear Tinted Moisturizer- I want a good drugstore tinted moisturizer and I have heard so many great things about this recently, that I am very tempted to buy. Plus, did you see the packaging? Adorable!
11. Physicians Formula Healthy Wear Powder Foundation- Anything that has the word powder freaks me out. Because I have dry skin, powder foundation tends to settle on my dry patches and look very cakey. However, I have heard that this does not do that, and I feel like applying it loosely over a tinted moisturizer will give me more coverage and act as a setting powder in one.
12. Maybelline Mineral Power Concealer- this is supposedly a dupe for MAC's concealer (that looks exactly like it). As I mentioned earlier, I have dry skin and this liquid concealer seems like an excellent way to conceal my problem areas without drying them out.
Hope you guys enjoyed this wishlist post. I have many more things I want (like the Sigma Brush Kits) but that I can't afford (yet).
I will talk to you guys later!
.stay beautiful.
G
